Student/teacher activity that seeks to replace misinformation and partial knowledge with easy to understand facts about the nature of germs and their transmission.
TOURS
TOURS: Students, teachers and other groups are welcome to request tours of MWRA facilities. Please understand that for your safety, we must impose some restrictions.
Water
issues are key to environmental education. Learning about their places in the water cycle helps students see the links between their daily lives and
important environmental issues like water conservation and pollution.
MWRA educational guides contain hands-on activities for a range of topics
and grade levels and are supported by free teacher workshops. For more information, please contact us.
The Responsible Flushing Alliance worked with a curriculum specialist to provide activity pages to help children learn and understand the importance of knowing what not to flush down the toilet.
ANNUAL POSTER AND WRITING CONTEST
Students in schools across the MWRA service area are challenged to create posters and essays about different topics each year. Winners are honored at a ceremony every spring.
